Our Quiet Shopping Hours is designed to make shopping easier and more enjoyable for neurodivergent individuals and others who may benefit from a calmer environment. Experience a more inclusive shopping space at all our Vision Express Tesco stores, every Wednesday and Saturday from 9-10 am.
This time also aligns with Tesco’s quiet hour, creating a consistent, relaxed experience across the store.

Who Benefits  

Quiet Shopping Hours are particularly helpful for neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD and dyslexia, as well as others who may have sensory differences. By offering this option, we aim to create a relaxed environment where everyone can feel comfortable, valued, and respected. 

 

 

Sunflower lanyards  

If you or a loved one wears a sunflower lanyard, it’s a signal to our team that a little extra help may be needed. Please let us know if there’s anything specific we can do to make your visit more comfortable.

Our commitment to inclusivity doesn’t stop at shopping. During your Advanced Eye Test, we take special care to ensure that each step is explained and that you feel prepared. We use clear, simple language and will happily adjust our approach based on your preferences.
